Fortnite’s mobile version has reached over $1 billion in lifetime player spending across iOS and Google Play, according to a new report by Sensor Tower.
It’s worth noting that up until last month, Fortnite has only been available either through the App Store on iOS, or through Epic vbuck generator Games directly on Android, meaning that Sensor Tower’s estimates do not account for spending in the game through Epic’s launcher — only through the two storefronts.
However, with the game’s recent launch on Google Play plus an increase in overall game time due to COVID-19 stay-at-home orders, fortnite v buck generator spending across both store reached $44.3 million in April, up from $23.3 million on the App Store alone in March and $35.4 million on the App Store in April of 2019.
In fact, Fortnite has crossed the $1 billion in spending threshold on the App Store alone, even without the months-worth of spending that’s taken place on Google Play — estimated to be about $937,000.
Countdown timers can get you in trouble, sometimes. I was sitting there watching the little timer on the Epic Games Store that was supposed to reveal GTA 5 as the “mystery game” that Fortnite v buck generator developer Epic was unveiling as its new free game, but things got strange as soon as the timer went down. I got a series of 500 errors before the store was actually able to load, but subsequent attempts to bring it up haven’t worked. Others are reporting seeing their stores load in languages other than their own:
Epic says that its aware of the problem and is working on a fix:
If the Epic Games Launcher isn’t working, that means you can’t play your Epic games, including the ultra-popular Fortnite. Just as importantly, you can’t get in to download your free copy of GTA 5, the arrival of which seems linked to these problems in some way, shape or form. The game will be free for a little while, so there’s no need to grab it right away. It’s still frustrating for anyone that’s been champing at the bit to get the game after yesterday’s rumors.
Hopefully this won’t last too long, both for eager GTA 5 players and people that want to just get back to Fortnite. The Epic Games Store launches to some degree of controversy from fans of competitor Valve’s Steam store, but much of that seems to have died down in recent months as Epic’s storefront becomes an established part of the industry. This is likely to add some fuel to fires, unfortunately.
One of the most ridiculous, and therefore best, things to happen recently in GTA Online is the eruption of a gang war between two factions of aliens. Except they’re not really aliens, they’re people dressed up in either green or purple body suits, and instead of beaming victims up for an anal probe they throw them into the back of a van, drive them out to the sticks, and beat the hell out of them.
This has actually been going on for awhile now, and has grown over the weeks from random silliness to a whole thing that the community has picked up and run with. Rockstar fanned the flames at the start of May by giving away $500,000 of in-game cash to everyone who logs into the game during the month, which is just enough to buy one of the remarkably expensive suits. (The purple suit goes for $330,000, while the green is even more expensive, at $358,000.)
But apparently that wasn’t enough to keep things sufficiently interesting, because now Rockstar is just straight-up dumping gasoline all over everything by making the suits entirely free. Rockstar hasn’t officially announced the giveaway, but multiple players on the GTA Online subreddit have confirmed it. (Update:Now it’s official.)
And not only are the suits free, but according to Rockstar fan Tez2 on Twitter, Ammu-nation stores in the game are also giving away pool cues—because gta 5 apk what’s the point of dressing up like an alien if you can’t whale on someone dressed up like a differently-colored alien with a makeshift club?
latest Fortnite Party Royale concert featuring Steve Aoki, Deadmau5, and Dillon Francis is over — or at least the initial live show is — and fans of the free-to-play battle royale game are divided about the event. Unlike the Travis Scott concert, which was unanimously celebrated, PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile players, plus all of those watching via stream, aren’t universally praising Epic Games latest free virtual concert.
Unlike the Travis Scott concert, this event took place within the game’s Party Royale mode, which is a new mode added by Epic Games last month that strips the game of all violence and competition in favor of providing a safe space to chill and hang out with friends.
As for the concert itself, many agree Steve Aoki was the highlight of the show, though there’s also plenty of praise being dished out to Deadmau5, who closed the proceedings.
That said, unfortunately for many, the concert ran into audio issues. Not only were the mics not working at various points, but the audio was breaking for some when players would emote. This combined with the reduction in production value left some yearning for more.
Worst fortnite event so far. No disrespect to the artists featured, but the event is bland and boring, glitches like audio that’s cutting out, no v buck generator sound from the concert if people are emoting, overall it just sucks and definitely the worst event.#partyroyale#fortnite

We are still a month or so away from the release of Fortnite Chapter 2, season 3 after an expected delay that has pushed back the launch of the new season until June. But the season is already starting to be teased, and a number of leaks are starting to make the rounds.
I figured I’d pluck one of these lists and go through them, based on what we know. The sourcing on these leaks is pretty questionable, as very little has been actually datamined yet, which is usually the best indicator of what’s coming. This is citing supposed inside knowledge of the future season, which we have seen in the past, but it’s hard to know where it’s coming from.
The main theme of the season will be water – That is more or less confirmed, given the teaser posters that have been datamined showed floating houses and sharks. It stands to reason a good chunk of the map could end up flooded as the result of some catastrophe.
The center of the map will be a big plaza – We are missing a Tilted Towers style zone in the new map, so I would not be surprised to see maybe Frenzy Farm replaced with something more interesting like a plaza.
There will be blue phone booths where you can change your skin mid-game – We have seen these appear in Party Royale already. Not sure why people would care to do this in the middle of a BR match, but I could see phone booths changing from Agent disguises to this functionality.
There will be minigames in the plaza from skydiving to parkour to boat racing – I assume these could play into challenges that we get every week, but I’d be a little surprised if there was a fixed focal point for all challenges like this.
Sharks will be a new vehicle – With the water theme, I did wonder if we would get some sort of jet-ski type vehicle to join boats. Sharks would be an interesting concept for a vehicle, and they have already appeared on the season 3 posters.
There’s going to be a female Black Knight – Seems like kind of an odd time to introduce this, but okay. Not clear on if this is a battle pass skin or not.
There’s a picture on Midas’s desk of a girl that is a new battle pass skin – There is indeed such a picture there, and it’s not clear if this is Midas’s wife or daughter. He looks too young to have a daughter that old, and I see tattoos. Probably not just a female, gender-flipped version of Midas, however, though maybe we’ll see one of those someday, as we usually do.
There will be a new Meowscles skin where he’s a robot – I would guess this isn’t in the battle pass, but could be a new style or a store skin, if it’s elaborate enough.
There will be a skin that’s a blend of Technique and Dark Voyager – Again, not sure on this one. Fortnite does love to revisit old skins, I suppose, though we’ve had two different versions of Technique and Dark Voyager already.
The secret battle pass skin will be Aquaman – This is a rumor I keep hearing, based on free v bucks generator the water theme, where Aquaman will replace Deadpool as the secret skin. Marvel is indeed racking up the score when it comes to characters featured in Fortnite, so maybe it’s time for DC to come back with one of their own to join Batman, Catwoman and Harley Quinn. I will believe this when I see it, however.
Shadow will win the Agency – I mean, duh.
There will be a customizable umbrella – I would not be surprised to see Fortnite play around with customization after Maya this past season.
There will be environmental fire damage – Not sure if I believe this one or not. Also hearing about weather effects, which seems likely someday, but not sure if this soon.
There will be a flaregun – That does…what? Calls down a care package? Lights people on fire?
There will be something involving fireflies – lol
So, those are the main leaks so far. I will say that yes, a flooded map seems likely, but past that, I’m just not sure. More to come.
Fortnite‘s Travis Scott concert was a huge success and, now, more big-name music acts are about to host their very own gigs in Epic Games’ absurdly successful game. This time it’s Diplo, who will be available to watch in the game’s Party Royale mode. The show is set to begin at 6 PM PT/9 PM ET/2 AM BST. Along with the musical show, the Major Lazer skin pack is on sale for $25.

“Welcome to Party Royale, a new experimental and evolving space,” Epic said previously. “All chill, no sweat. Leave your weapons and mats behind and hang out with friends, play games, perfect your skydive, and more. The party’s just getting started.”
The Travis Scott concert was huge for Epic Games. Fortnite boasted a record-breaking number of players over its five performances. We expect the social space will be home to plenty more like this, especially as social distancing continues. so if you like live music you may want to download Fortnite.
You can take a look at the contents of the Major Lazer skins pack below.
Epic Games is celebrating the Halloween season by unleashing hordes of the undead upon unsuspecting players.
Patch 6.20 has added another holiday themed game mode appropriately titled “Fortnitemares.” In this mode, players must fight against other survivors while also fending off waves of undead AI called “cube monsters.”
These monsters come in two types of fortnite v bucks generator . The more common and less durable variant are known as fiends. The second are the brutes, which are larger and tougher to kill than their smaller counterparts. Both versions grant a small amount of shield restoration upon defeat, and have a chance to drop a random piece of loot.
These husks are spawned from cube fragments, some of which appear randomly while others can be more predictably found near the areas around the map’s floating island. The fragments can be destroyed, but the process takes a considerable amount of time during which another player might ambush their occupied opponent.
Fortnitemares also sees the return of the retired crossbow weapon, now called the “fiend hunter crossbow.” The weapon was removed from the Battle Royale mode in season four but remained in Save the World.
Epic Games will also be adding Halloween content to Save the World. The Transylvania-themed location Hexsylvania will be returning along with new limited time quests, skins, heroes, and a new weapon set.
Battle Pass members will be given the chance to complete five different challenges. First, players must hunt down 200 cube monsters. 5000 damage must then be dealt to these undead monstrosities to finish the second challenge. Next players will need to visit a corrupted area in seven separate matches. Lastly, players must dance at five different gargoyle statues scattered across various locations on the map.
After accomplishing these tasks, players will be rewarded with a glider in the form of a comical flying ghost train.
New posters have been seen around the Fortnite map which seems to hint at Travis Scott’s Astroworld and there is also an object spotted in the sky. Here is what we know and what data-miners have found in the files so far.
Epic Games have partnered with many different companies to date and have held many live in-game events, with the latest being the Star Wars Event held at Risky Reels with an exclusive Rise of the Skywalker clip played in-game.
One of the other major events Epic Games were able to pull off in Fortnite was hosting the first Live Music Concert in a game, with millions of players worldwide tuning in. Marshmello was the first music artist that Epic had teamed up with and a live concert was playing at Pleasant Park.
TRAVIS SCOTT FORTNITE EVENT
There has been some talk of fortnite v bucks generator being a Travis Scott collaboration with Fortnite as data-miners had previously found files associated with the music artist, but nothing was really found at the time. An image was seen of a Travis Scott Skin in-game, however the authenticity of this image was never confirmed.
It looks like there will be a music event coming soon to Fortnite as there are posters that have been found all over the Fortnite map, as can be seen below:
If you look closely at the background of the poster, you can see that it shows part of the map of Fortnite, particularly the islands around Sweaty Sands. The music icon is located on top of Sweaty Sands, which is where the event will more than likely take place.
FORTNITE PURPLE GLOWING SPHERE IN THE SKY
There is also a purple glowing object in the sky, which is very far from the Fortnite Island. If you haven’t seen it already, it can be spotted by looking upwards, east of the map. Here is what it looks like in-game:
It is very small at the moment, but you can just make it out in the distance. Some players have said that they can hear music when aiming at the object. This is all showing in-game now, but thanks to data-miners, we can take a closer look at this object.
Epic Games has delayed the release of the new season of “Fortnite” until June 4, according to a blog post from the company. The new version — or Chapter 2 – Season 3 — of the hugely popular multiplayer video game was due to be released on April 30, but the current season will now be extended, the North Carolina-based software company said.Fans will be able to experience new content while they wait for the next release, it added.”We have multiple game updates on the way that will deliver fresh gameplay, new Challenges, bonus XP, and a couple more surprises up our sleeve!” the company said.
Epic Games said “Fortnite”‘s extended Chapter 2 – Season 2 will get new content.CNN has contacted Epic Games for comment on the reason for the delay. Some fans of the game criticized the company online in the wake of the announcement.”For real? When are you going to address the massive lack of communication guys?”
wrote Twitter user Ballatw.”This is again a non-statement. What does the future look like? I know we are all devastated by current events but are you SERIOUS right now?”However, others took the news better.Fortnite made $1.8 billion in 2019“I’m honestly perfectly fine with this extension, this season is a lot of fun to me,” said Claygamer2003.The video game made $1.8 billion in digital sales in v buck generator 2019, the most of any game that year, according to a report from digital gaming research firm SuperData. That figure was down 25% from 2018 — when it also topped the rankings — but still strong enough to remain No.
1 nearly three years after its release, according to SuperData. In 2018, “Fortnite” brought in more money in a single year than any game in history, with $2.4 billion in sales, becoming an unlikely cultural phenomenon.”‘Fortnite’ continues to do well because it’s fun, the developers add to the environment relatively frequently, there is a strong social angle, and it keeps adding seasonal challenges to keep the game fresh,” said Michael Pachter, an analyst at private financial services firm Wedbush, in January.Fortnite reveals exclusive Star Wars trailer in game, but some users can’t log in“Fortnite” also keeps things lively with different in-game events, such as recent collaborations with Disney (DIS).During a “Star Wars” event in December 2019, spaceships such as the Millennium Falcon zipped across the sky during the game, and director J.J. Abrams presented an exclusive clip from the recent film, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” on the platform.Epic Games also sold virtual “Star Wars” outfits during the event.
Crash Pads came out in the most recent Fortnite update and, wouldn’t you know it, players began to find some bugs with the item.
The first bug was found v buck generator almost immediately, although it’s relatively specific. You can bounce yourself to safety if you happen to get downed in mid-air with Crash Pads in your inventory – something that probably wasn’t intentional.
This next issue was clearly unintentional, however. You can continuously bounce yourself higher by using Crash Pads in mid-air.
It’s hard to describe the nature of this exploit, so you’ll have to watch it for yourself. All you need is a cardboard box and some Crash Pads. For some reason, the box forces the Crash Pads to land directly underneath you.
As you can see, there are several in-game applications of this glitch. With six Crash Pads, you can easily take high-ground without your opponent knowing what’s about to happen.
This isn’t the most broken exploit in Fortnite, but it’s certainly something that’s worth a fix. Unfortunately, since the cardboard boxes have their own POI and skin set, Epic would probably disable Crash Pads if it came down to it. We can’t have anything nice.
